Hisar Connect is a free local directory of service providers in Hisar, Haryana. You search for the service you need, see who offers it, and call or message them directly. It is a way to find people, not a booking or payment platform.

Yes. Searching and contacting providers is free for customers, and listing is free for service providers. There is no subscription and no commission on any work.

You can browse the website and view any provider without an account. Signing in with Google is asked for when you contact a provider, save a favourite or leave a review.

Yes, there is an Android app, and the website works on any phone browser without installing anything. Both show the same listings.

No. The directory only covers Hisar and the nearby towns in its service area, such as Barwala, Adampur, Hansi and Uklana. It is deliberately local rather than pan-India.

Yes. The app can be switched between English and Hindi from the account menu, and search understands Hindi and Hinglish terms such as बिजली वाला and ac wala.

No. Providers pay nothing to be listed and nothing when they get work. There is no paid ranking and no way to buy a higher position in search results.

It does not currently charge anyone. The platform runs at close to zero cost and is not monetised at this stage.

It covers similar ground but only for Hisar, and it does not sell rankings or resell your phone number to multiple businesses. When you tap call, you are calling one provider directly.

Yes. The website works on desktop and mobile browsers. Contact buttons such as WhatsApp work best on a phone.

The directory currently lists several hundred providers across 18 service categories in Hisar. The exact count is shown on the directory page.

Listings are added and corrected on an ongoing basis, and providers who claim their listing can update their own details at any time.

It does not take bookings on your behalf, handle payments, set prices, guarantee work quality or resolve disputes. You deal with the provider directly, exactly as you would if a neighbour gave you their number.

Finding a reliable plumber or electrician in Hisar usually means asking around. This collects those numbers in one place so you can find them by service and area instead.

Yes. Every provider page on the website is public and shows their services, area and contact options without an account.

No. There is no advertising on Hisar Connect and user data is not sold. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored.

The directory covers home repair, vehicles, beauty, events, education and moving services. That includes electricians, plumbers, AC repair, carpenters, painters, RO service, pest control, CCTV, computer repair, tailors, beauticians, photographers, caterers, tutors, car and bike mechanics, interior designers and packers and movers.

Search "plumber" or tap the Plumber category, then filter by your area. Each listing shows the areas that plumber travels to, so you can pick one who actually covers your locality.

Search "electrician" and turn on Near me to sort by distance, or select your area from the area filter. Providers whose service area covers your locality are marked "Serves this area".

The AC Repair category lists technicians across Hisar for gas refilling, cooling faults, servicing and installation. Most also handle window and split units.

The RO Repair category lists water purifier technicians for filter changes, servicing and installation. Many AC repair technicians also handle RO work.

Yes. The Carpenter category covers furniture repair, modular work, doors and windows and custom woodwork.

The Painter category lists painters for interior and exterior work, whitewash, texture and waterproofing. Call two or three to compare what they quote.

Yes. The Pest Control category covers cockroach, termite, bed bug and mosquito treatment for homes and shops.

The CCTV Installation category lists installers for homes, shops and offices, including repair and new setup.

Yes. The Computer Classes category currently holds computer and laptop service shops in Hisar covering repair, servicing and software problems.

The Tailor category lists tailors and boutiques for stitching, alterations and suit or blouse work.

The Beautician category lists salons and beauticians for facials, hair, bridal makeup and mehndi, including some who come to your home.

Browse the Photographer category and contact them directly to check availability for your date. Photographers usually quote based on the event, so speak to a few.

The Catering category lists caterers and tent services for weddings, birthdays and functions. Contact them well before the date for larger events.

Yes. The Interior Designer category covers home and shop interiors, modular kitchens, false ceilings and renovation.

Open the provider and use the Call or WhatsApp button. WhatsApp opens with a short message saying you found them on Hisar Connect, so they know where the enquiry came from.

No. You contact them yourself. The platform gives you the number and the context; the conversation is between you and the provider.

Each provider has a service area, not just a shop location. When you search a locality, providers whose service area covers it are marked "Serves this area", which is more useful than knowing where their shop is.

It is how far that provider is willing to travel from their base. A plumber with a 5 km radius will usually come anywhere within roughly that distance.

No. Listings are compiled from public business information and are not independently verified. Treat them as a starting point and use your own judgement, exactly as you would with a number from a neighbour.

It means the business owner has signed in and taken ownership of that listing, so the details come from them rather than from public sources. Claimed listings tend to be more accurate.

Most listings were compiled from public information, which does not include descriptions, working hours or photos. Those details appear once a provider claims their listing and fills them in.

Only where the provider has added them. Where hours are missing, call during normal business hours to check.

You cannot know for certain from the listing alone. If a number does not connect, use the report option so it can be checked and removed.

Reviews are supported for providers who have claimed their listing. Since most listings are not yet claimed, you will not see reviews on every provider.

Use the report option in the menu on the provider card. Reports go to the admin team, which is the main way bad data gets corrected.

You can report a listing, and repeated reports are reviewed. Hisar Connect cannot arbitrate disputes or take action on your behalf beyond removing a listing.

No. There is no paid placement. Results are ranked by how well they match what you searched, and the order is varied per device so the same few providers do not always appear first.

Ordering is deliberately varied per device and rotates daily. Alphabetical order would give the same handful of businesses every enquiry, which is unfair to everyone else.

Yes. Sign in and use the bookmark icon on a listing to save it to your favourites.

Type what you need in the search box — "plumber", "ac repair", "bijli wala" — or tap a category tile. You can also filter by area or sort by distance.

Yes. Searches such as प्लंबर, बिजली वाला and एसी work, as do Hinglish forms like "ac wala" and "bijli repair".

It handles common variations such as "ac repairing" or "air conditioner repair", and ignores filler words like "best" and "near me". Very unusual spellings may still return nothing.

Either the wording was not recognised or that service is not yet listed in Hisar. Where the search is understood, related categories are suggested underneath.

With location permission granted, it sorts providers by distance from where you are. If you decline permission, use the area filter instead — nothing breaks.

No. Location is only used for the Near me sort, only after you allow it, and it is never stored or shared with providers.

Use the area filter and pick your locality, or type the area name into search. Providers whose service radius covers that locality are included, not only those based there.

Yes. Tap a category tile on the home screen, or search the category name directly.

It shows providers whose service area covers that locality. Searching "Model Town" surfaces everyone who travels to Model Town, not only businesses with a Model Town address.

Yes. Type the business name into search; names are matched as well as categories and areas.

Near me uses your live GPS location and sorts by actual distance. The area filter uses the locality label on the listing and works without any location permission.

Distance appears on listings when Near me is turned on and location permission has been granted.

Yes. The directory page lists every active provider, grouped by service.

Ordering is randomised per device and rotates daily, so every provider gets time near the top rather than the list always favouring the same names.

Tap the cross in the search box to clear the text, and set the area filter back to All areas.

Listings span localities across the city including Model Town, Urban Estate, Shastri Nagar, Mehta Nagar, Sector 13, 14 and 15, Azad Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Industrial Area, plus nearby towns such as Barwala, Adampur, Hansi and Uklana.

Yes. Search "Model Town" or select it in the area filter to see providers who cover that locality.

Yes. Sector 14 is one of the better covered localities. Filter by it to see who serves that area.

Yes. Urban Estate has a good spread of listings across most service categories.

Yes. Those two localities have the largest number of listings in the directory.

There are listings in Barwala, Adampur, Hansi, Uklana and some surrounding villages, though coverage is thinner than in Hisar city.

It can be. Many providers travel several kilometres, and their service radius is shown on each listing so you can see who is likely to come.

A directory is only useful if the listings are genuinely local and current. Covering one city properly is more valuable than covering many badly.

Shortlist two or three from the same category, call each one, and ask what the job involves and what it will cost before committing. Providers who have claimed their listing are usually more contactable.

Many do, particularly for repair work. Ask on the call — charges are set entirely by the provider and Hisar Connect has no part in them.

Normal business hours generally work best. For urgent repairs such as a burst pipe or power fault, many providers answer outside those hours.

There is no emergency dispatch. Many local providers do attend the same day, so calling two or three is the fastest route.

Open "List your service", enter your phone number, and if you are already listed you can claim that listing. If you are not, you can submit your details for review.

No. Listing is free, there is no subscription, and there is no commission on work you get.

Go to "List your service" and enter the phone number on the listing. If it matches, you can request that listing and an admin will hand it over after a check.

A phone number is public information, so anyone could type it. Approval is a manual check that stops someone taking over a competitor listing.

Claims and new listings are reviewed manually, usually within a day.

Yes. Once the listing is yours you can update your name, services, area, description and contact details from within the app.

Yes. Once you own the listing you can add a profile photo and photos of your work.

Yes, and it matters more than your address. Your service radius decides which area searches show you, so setting it accurately brings the right enquiries.

Customers call or message you directly, so enquiries arrive on your phone as normal calls and WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp enquiries say the person found you on Hisar Connect.

View and contact counts are recorded for claimed listings. Ask via the contact address if you want your current figures.

The listings are ordinary local businesses, but they are not vetted. Confirm the scope and price before work starts, and avoid paying in full in advance.

For signed-in users it stores the Google account name and email, and any favourites or reviews you create. Browsing without an account stores nothing about you.

Only when you call or message them, at which point they see your number as they would with any call. It is not shared otherwise and never sold.

Yes. Account deletion is available in the app and on the website, and it removes your profile, favourites and reviews.

Only to sort providers by distance when you turn on Near me. It is not stored on the server and is never shared with providers.

No. The platform is a directory. Any agreement, payment and guarantee is between you and the provider.

Hisar Connect cannot dispatch or compel a provider. Contact them directly, and use the report option if a listing is consistently unreachable so it can be reviewed.

Directly, by whatever method you and the provider agree. Hisar Connect does not process payments and never asks for card or bank details.

Paying the full amount before work starts is best avoided. Agree the price first and pay on completion unless materials genuinely need buying up front.

No. Prices are set entirely by the provider and agreed between you and them. No price is shown on the platform.

Use the report option on your listing or the contact address on the about page, and it will be removed.
