This Privacy Policy explains what information Hisar Connect collects, how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what is needed to run a useful local services directory. We do NOT sell your data.
When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email. Providers also add a contact number, service categories, area, an optional photo/logo, working hours and a description. You may optionally verify your number via a one-time SMS code.
Location is only used when you choose it. Providers may pin their exact location so clients can get directions and find them via “Near me”. When you send a service request, your exact current location is shared with that provider so they can reach you. Location is read only with your permission, which you can revoke in your device settings.
We use it to run the directory: show provider listings, power search and “Near me”, connect calls/WhatsApp/directions, deliver service requests and notifications, display ratings and “jobs completed”, and keep the directory trustworthy.
A provider’s name, services, area, photo, hours, rating, reviews and listed contact number are visible to signed-in users — that is how a directory works. A client’s email is never shown publicly. The details of a service request (including the location you share) are visible only to you and the provider you sent it to.
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore + Firebase Authentication) with access rules so only you can edit your own content. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
You can edit your details anytime, and permanently delete your account and all your data (profile, listing, reviews, notifications) from Account → Delete my account. This cannot be undone. See Delete your data. For any data request, email ceo@ventron.in.
Hisar Connect is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may access, correct, erase your data, and withdraw consent. Edit in-app anytime, or delete everything via Account → Delete my account. To exercise a right or raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer at ceo@ventron.in — acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 15 days.
We keep data only while your account exists or as the law requires; on deletion, residual backup copies roll off within 90 days. We may update this policy and will note the date above. Questions? Email ceo@ventron.in.
